Self Portrait II

Here is one of my finals done :) I chose to depict myself in monochromatic color and focused on the planes in the face. The drawing is on Archers watercolor paper, and colored using gouache.

Pancake Cake

So tonight I didn't have many options dessert wise, but I did have a ton of fresh strawberries and some pancake mix. So I made a pancake cake! which turned out awesome!!! And funny enough it doesn't taste anything like a pancake :)

Spatial Sequence

Our second to last project for 3D design, we had to fill a 16 by 16 inch space with flat planes. Many people had very geometric structures I chose to make mine more circular. It reminds me of the Sydney opera house mixed with some sort of crazy outdoor theater or circus. I used Balsa wood, colored paper and tracing paper to make the planes. I also had a light projecting upwards for night time which is shown best in the last photo. The little paper figures are included to show the scale of the building. All in all it was much more enjoyable than the glass cube.
