These are done in Photoshop in about 20-40 minutes. The main purpose is to keep things loose and experiment with composition and light.

Pictures!
Hi everyone! So for my mom's birthday this year I decided to get her some nice photos of me; since the most recent picture she has of me is from 2005, and needs to go away. :) These were taken by my friend Lauren Page who does very nice photography and then I edited the raw images in Photoshop. If you want to get in contact with Lauren or check out more of her work here is her blog Simply Blessed . Thanks again Lauren!

Vase Study
This piece is a study of a vase I rendered in Photoshop with digital paint. Recently I discovered some really great instructional videos from Ctrl+Paint.com and followed his process. It is very similar to rendering in oils or acrylic, but the ability to have layers and masks speeds up the workflow tenfold. Anyways if you are interested in digital painting head check out the link.
