This morning Robert, Philip and Myself climbed up the hills overlooking Pirates Cove and Shell Beach. Besides the initial uphill vault the hike was quite pleasant. Any hike with little to no poison oak is already a plus, but in addition to this, the view was incredible. Even though it was pretty overcast and gloomy the outlook from the top of the hill was astounding. Almost as astounding as the number of other people who were also there at the exact same time we were, on a weekday... Two people walking dogs, Two Bikers and Two joggers went by us while we were enjoying the sights. Overall though it was quite serene atop the hill. Looking out on the rocks of Shell Beach however sparked a desire to go kayaking... once the waves calm down :)
