First Week Down!

Well this was probably the most anticipated semester to date. I was so ready to go back to school and I am very glad to be back at Hancock. The first day was like a giant family reunion, all of my old friends and same familiar characters drifting around the campus. It is however a little bizarre having 6 straight hours of school since the last few years have only been around 3 classes a day. Drawing is most definitely my favorite class so far. I am very excited to hone my skills, plus I have met the most people in that class. From my view this semester will be pretty awesome!

Morning Hike

This morning Robert, Philip and Myself climbed up the hills overlooking Pirates Cove and Shell Beach. Besides the initial uphill vault the hike was quite pleasant. Any hike with little to no poison oak is already a plus, but in addition to this, the view was incredible. Even though it was pretty overcast and gloomy the outlook from the top of the hill was astounding. Almost as astounding as the number of other people who were also there at the exact same time we were, on a weekday... Two people walking dogs, Two Bikers and Two joggers went by us while we were enjoying the sights. Overall though it was quite serene atop the hill. Looking out on the rocks of Shell Beach however sparked a desire to go kayaking... once the waves calm down :)

Life Right now is pretty amazing. I have another week till school starts and besides that I got to visit some of my Friends from Santa Barbara today, namely the omni-awesome Nancy :)
We went to the zoo with my mom, sister and Susan and had a blast! Did some cool sketching and had some amazing food at the L&L Hawaiian BBQ. So yeah today was a good day!

Side note I saw a "Bleeding Heart Pigeon" for the first time today... Such a cool bird I easily spent 15 minutes staring at it...
